about
Long-time friend and guitarist from French Blue, Steve Pownell is an artesian well of musical creativity. On this day he brought a few ideas, but we both decided to recall an unfinished song that we had worked on in the past. Also invited to this SIAD Session was Sandi Quotson from Downlows, who plays the violin with angelic grace and keeps a beautiful singing voice hidden in her back pocket. Sandi's contributions really added the bling and served as the melodic coagulate for the song.
